The North American Nebula (NGC 7000) is located in the constellation of Cygnus at adistance
of 2,000 LY.  NGC 7000 is part of a large star forming region in Cygnus and shines due to the
ionization of the surrounding Hydrogen gas and dust; a process fueled by nearby young hot stars.
