NGC6995 is the eastern portion of the Cygnus Loop and is located in the constellation Cygnus
 at a distance of 2,500 LY.  The loop includes the Eastern Veil, the Western Veil, and Pickering's
 Triangular Wisp.  It is a large, relatively faint supernova remnant which exploded around 15,000 years ago.
