NGC1848 is one of two bright emission nebula in the constellation Casseopeia.  Dubbed the Soul Nebula because of it's unique
shape, NGC1848 lies about 6,000 LY from Earth and shines bright in energized hydrogen fueled by young open clusters in the vicinity.
