The Horsehead Nebula (also known as B33 in emission nebula IC434) is a dark nebula in the
constellation of Orion.  It is located just south of the star Alnitak which is in Orion's belt, and is
part of a much larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex.  At a distance of 1,500 LY, the darkness
of the Horsehead is caused mostly by thick dusk obscurring the glowing Hydrogen gas behind it.
